Dr. Sajid shaikh,

 Associate Professor

PhD(Electronics and Communication)

Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering have a conductive academic environment for the overall development of students. By keeping in mind the student centric approach, all the facilities are provided to the students. With the help of well qualified and dedicated faculty, we developed the academic environment to get the knowledge of subject and its practical implementation to boost student’s confidence which will make them well learned and entrepreneurs.
On successful completion of this program, the students can have a challenging career in their life.

About Department

Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering have been established at JSPM’s JSPM Narhe Technical Campus, Pune in 2011. It offers a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication (E & TC) Engineering and a Post Graduate program leading to a Master of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (VLSI and Embedded System). The department has a sanctioned intake of 60 students for the under graduate course and 24 students for the post graduation course.
Since its commencement, the primary objective of the department has been to impart quality technical education to the students with broad emphasis on design aspects of Electronics and Communication systems. The Department has always been on a high growth path and has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty who work with zeal and enthusiasm to provide a vibrant and optimum learning environment to the students in order to help them excel in today’s competitive environment.
To keep pace with the current technological trends, the department has well equipped laboratories such as Signal Processing, VLSI and Embedded System, Microcontroller, Electrical & PCB design Lab, Project Lab, Optical Communication Lab, Satellite Communication Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, etc., which give them the necessary and sufficient backing of practical knowledge that they need. We train the students to use high end application softwares like MATLAB, P-SPICE etc.
Students are given education as well as training in order to get placed in highly reputed Industries. Students of our department actively participate in various National and State Level activities being organized at various other organizations. Some of them have also been awarded in the events. The teaching faculty is active in conducting research and the publications in National/International conference proceedings/Journals are encouraged. As a part of the curriculum, Industrial visits are arranged for students.
The student’s body ‘Association of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Students’ (ETSA) has been actively involved in several technical activities and project competitions like Technovision. Students Associations organizes the guest lectures by eminent speakers from various reputed institutes and Industries. Various co-curricular activities organized by E&TC students every year helps in building personality of students.
