Prof. A. M.  Kadam.
F.E.CO-ORDINATOR .
RSSOER, JSPM, NTC.

A student’s personality stems from the basic roots of culture and mindset. At RSSOER, JSPM, NTC, we believe in nurturing the student’s cynical, physical and psychological behavior right from the very first year. Thus, the programs that challenge our students both academically and culturally are encouraged here. Underlying the strong roof of responsibility, we have our teachers and support staff as our strong pillars. Various programs such as student- guardian faculty member meetings & interactions, parents-teachers meeting etc. are conducted to encourage a better communication between the various entities.
Amidst all this, we never tend to forget the fact that academic qualifications are indeed crucial and to strengthen the same we monitor the students’ performance strictly by conducting the unit tests, prelims, mock online exams. Etc. We also assess the involvement by calculating the monthly attendance. A multi dimensional education prospect encompasses development and hence we include innovative learning methods in our college.
I wish all the best to our FE students for their bright career ahead!

About Department

At RSSOER, we have four branches of UG Engineering Course i) Mechanical ii) Computer iii) Civil and iv) E & TC. There are two groups in this course, Group A and Group B. Group A is a mechanical group & Group B consists of Computer, Civil and E & TC branches. The intake of Group A is 120 & the intake of Group B is 180.
First Year Engineering Exam Pattern is totally changed from Academic Year 2012-2013. In first semester, Group A has five subjects i) Physics ii) Basic Electronics Engineering iii) Engineering Mathematics-I iv) Basic Civil Engineering v) Engineering Graphics-I. Group B has also five subjects i) Chemistry ii) Basic Electrical Engineering iii) Engineering Mathematics-I iv) Basic Civil Engineering v) Engineering Graphics-I. And in second semester, Group A has again five subjects i) Chemistry ii) Basic Electrical Engineering iii) Engineering Mathematics-II iv) Engineering Mechanics v) Basic Mechanical Engineering & Group B has also five subjects i) Physics ii) Basic Electronics Engineering iii) Engineering Mathematics-II iv) Engineering Mechanics v) Basic Mechanical Engineering.
In each semester, two university online exams (25 marks each) & one university theory exam (50 marks) are conducted. There is combined passing in each subject. Forty marks are needed to pass in each subject. In addition to this, a few subjects have internal term work marks
