From the HOD's Desk

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”- Nelson Mandela.
There was a time when survival depended on just the realization of physiological needs. We are indeed privileged to exist in a time when ‘intellectual gratification’ has become indispensable. Information is easily attainable for the soul that is curious enough to go look for it. Technological boons enable information availability anywhere anytime. The difference, however, lies between those who look for information and those who look for knowledge.
I take the pleasure in welcoming you to JSPM Narhe Technical Campus, Pune. The Institute is dedicated to the proper growth and development of each and every student for a better career prospect.JSPM NTC MBA is committed to nurturing leaders and entrepreneurs who will power their organizations in the emerging economies. At the same time the Institute remains deeply rooted to the region and the nation. An underlying priority is to instil in our students a sense of commitment as managers to have a socially responsible impact; to give them an understanding of how difficult and challenging this often can be; and to expand their knowledge and their intellectual horizons so they emerge transformed and prepared to have an impact on the world of business and society at large.
This is how we transform our students into holistic human beings and efficient professionals with a high sense of caring for family, society and the environment.

Group Discussion

"Group Discussion", popularly labeled as GD, is a methodology used by an organization (company, institute, business school, etc.) to gauge whether the candidate has certain personality traits. GDs form an important part of the short-listing process for recruitment or admission in a company or institution. In this methodology, the group of candidates is given a topic or a situation, typically given some time to think about the same, and then asked to discuss it among themselves for a specific duration (which may vary from one organization to another).

GFM sessions

Mentor teachers have become key players in launching student teachers into the teaching profession. Mentor teachers are recognized for their practical knowledge of the teaching profession, which complements the theoretical knowledge that the student teacher has acquired through fruitful discussions.

Seminar Hall

A place where every student explores his or her capabilities and qualities apart from studies.

Conferences and seminars

We offer a place for interaction between experts from various fields and students in the form of seminars and conferences.

JSPM NTC MBA department came across a challenge of rendering practical knowledge which was limited because of classroom teaching pedagogy. To match with the global market demand a need to impart practical knowledge for the same rose. This issue led to the brainstorming session amongst the department head and management. After some long discussions in the meetings, emerged the concept of Practical labs in management department. This concept is one of its first unique concepts to be established in Institute. The idea behind creating such labs is to train the students about current trends in corporate world along with preparing them for the corporate needs. This will help to bridge the gap between educational outcome and industrial requirement of intellectual capital. The labs to be established comprises of Finance and Marketing Lab by the name “Space with D2” where one D represents Mr.C.D.Deshmukh (First RBI Governor for Government of India) and second D represents Prof.Peter Drucker (Founder of modern Management and Marketing management Consultant). In this Lab the students will come across finance and marketing aspect and will equip themselves with practical know how of the concerned discipline.

Marketing and Finance (Space with D2) Lab

HR and PD (Mind Tree) Lab

Adding another feather to the development of the lab is the establishment of Human Resource Management and Personality Development Lab by the name “Mind Tree”. In this lab the students will learn the techniques to self groom and rebuild their image and confidence through learning and practically practicing required skills for self development and image. Along with self image building the student will also learn the corporate managerial operative functions to be carried out. Such simulation labs will definitely close the gap between the student awareness for the current requirement from the industry and their level of preparation for the same. The students will get a corporate feel and they will learn established concepts and will attempt to develop new ideas, process, thought process, confidence, professional attire, ethics and attitude. The achievement of JSPM NTC department will arise at a much needed greater pace and the outcomes of these labs will be young dynamic managers and entrepreneurs.

Corporate Office Lab

Companies generally operate as sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies or corporations. Each business entity has unique requirements and responsibilities that might be required under state laws. If a company decides to conduct business as a corporation, that company will have a corporate office as well as a registered office, and each office type serves a different role within the company.
Corporate is a term that pertains to corporations. A corporate office is the main office, also called the headquarters, of a corporation. This office is usually the hub of the company and often serves as the central location where top decisions are made. The corporate office is generally where the executives of the company, including the CEO, maintain their offices.

Computer Lab

Technology has struggled to find its way into the classroom in all sorts of ways, from projectors and televisions to computer labs and student laptops. Along with improving the way students are taught, it is also vitally important that students learn to use computers to improve their own work and prepare for careers in a world where computers have become as common as the pencil and paper. A computer lab is a space which provides computer services to a defined community. Education has benefited from the inclusion of technology and computers by making it easier for students to keep up while helping teachers by improving the way lessons can be planned and taught. Students who use computers learn to use word processors for work, and subsequently they learn computer jargon and strengthen grammatical skills. Students can also look up lessons on websites or through email rather than lugging heavy textbooks with them every day.
