Digital Electronics
Digital Electronics Lab Overview:
Purpose: To provide hands-on experience with digital electronic components and systems, enhancing understanding of digital logic and circuit design.
Key Components:
- Logic Gates: AND, OR, NOT, etc.
- Flip-Flops: D, JK types.
- Counters: Binary, decade, up/down.
- Registers: Shift and parallel.
- Multiplexers/Demultiplexers, Encoders/Decoders, Adders/Subtractors: For routing, conversion, and arithmetic operations.
Equipment:
- Digital Trainer Kit: For building and testing circuits with integrated ICs and built-in displays.
- IC Tester: For verifying the functionality of integrated circuits.
Experiments: Include designing circuits with basic gates, implementing combinational and sequential logic, and using the IC Tester to ensure IC functionality.
