The Computer Engineering Department was established in 2012 with an intake of 60 students. The Computer Engineering department has 19 well qualified staff with various specializations to help and guide the students. The department has “Association of Computer Engineering Students” (ACES) in which additional curricular activities for overall development of student is observed. The department has its own departmental library with sufficient number of titles.

The Students' Association is dedicated to the growth and continuance of student services and cultural enrichment on campus. The Students' Association Executive consists of democratically elected President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and other committee members. The Executive is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Association.
The purpose computer engineering students association at the College of JSPM NTC is to provide a structure through which students may exercise their right to freely associate in pursuit of a common purpose or goal that enhances community at JSPM NTC. ACES create opportunities for leadership development, learning, student engagement, and fostering of shared interests.
Create, organize, promote and enrich the social, cultural, recreational, educational programs, services and environment for students of the College of the Rockies.
Develop a sense of community among students and other groups within the Department.
Promote and represent students' issues and interest in relation to the Department
If you’re an organizer or officer of your association, you will develop lots of experience and expertise in event planning and organization.
Even if you aren’t an active member of a student association with an administrative position, you will demonstrate a number of qualities simply by becoming a member.
You will be a team player who is able to show commitment to fellow members of the association.
by succeeding in your academic work alongside your participation in a association, you will demonstrate time management skills and come across as a well-rounded individual.
